Cosgrove Leisure are having a major overhaul of there online business, they run and operate three large caravan and residential lodge sites in the southeast of the UK.
The previous website had several major issues, one being it wasn't responsive. It featured out of date information with no way for the client to update the content, outdated SEO practices and aesthetics.
First port of call was making sure the brand new website was responsive, Google penalises websites for not being 'mobile ready', I implemented the Webflow CMS into the build, allowing the client to update all the content in browser, with the ability to add and remove lodges and caravans that were for sale, whilst maintaining the same visual consistency.
The Lodge For Sale page is powered directly by the Webflow CMS, allowing the team to add and remove lodges as they become available and as they are sold, there is also conditional logic in play, e.g. when a field is not submitted in the CMS the page will not display the static items surround the dynamic data, this means that there will never be a missing field from the users perspective, this type of detail is important for building the clients trust.
The layout needed to be simple and clean, the demographic for Wayside are those looking for a quieter life, it's surrounded by fields and nature, so the website needed to feel higher end without feeling too exclusive.
